Performance & Efficient Performance
At its core, the Spirit 1.0 Plus electric outboard motor features a 1 kW BLDC motor, which delivers propulsive power comparable to that of a 3 HP petrol outboard. It also provides a lot of torque and features a direct drive system with few moving parts, making it highly efficient.
Extended Range & Innovative Battery
The motor comes with a large 1276 Wh integrated lithium battery, which is the largest capacity for an electric motor of its size, ensuring a long range. With one charge, you can travel 22 miles at 4.5 mph, or go fishing all day long at trolling speed. The integrated rechargeable battery is lightweight, at only 8.7 kg (19 lbs / 19.2 lbs). 
A significant safety feature is its positive buoyancy, ensuring you never have to worry about the battery dropping into the water. The dual power ports support 180W solar charging, providing constant power even on sunny days when discharging. The runtime can be extended to an entire day by replacing the integrated Spirit battery with an ePropulsion 48V E-Series external battery.
The battery has IP67 protection and operates in any conditions. The battery housing is flame-retardant and features a high-quality vent, effectively balancing the air pressure inside to maintain a healthy working environment that benefits its service life. Charging takes 8.5 hours with a standard charger or 3.5 hours with a fast charger. A standard battery charger is supplied with each motor.
Effortless Operation & Zero Maintenance
Electric outboard motors are easy to operate and provide you with clear information on the operational status. A digital display provides access to real-time power, remaining runtime, battery level, and operating voltage. It features an electric start, allowing you to press one button and be ready to go, eliminating the need for a tiring pull cord. A magnetic kill switch helps stop the motor in an emergency, keeping you safe. 
The stepless throttle changing provides a clear, smooth, and enjoyable hand feel. It also offers ambidextrous operation, allowing you to turn the throttle easily from either the left or right-hand side. There’s a max power output adjustment feature that allows for a smaller full throttle power, making it safer for children and rental boats.
The motor is maintenance-free, so no servicing, winterising, or flushing out the engine is required. Being electric, there is no risk of having bad petrol, which is by far the biggest reason for outboard failure.
It is whisper-quiet, offering a peaceful and considerate experience with significantly reduced vibration.
Portable, Robust & Thoughtful Design
The Spirit 1.0 Plus is easy to transport, with the motor unit weighing just 10.6 kg (23.4 lbs). Its ergonomic design features a carrying handle on the battery, allowing you to carry it with minimal effort. It also features a lifting buckle designed to facilitate placing the battery in or lifting it up. 
The motor is available in three shaft lengths: Extra Short, Short, and Long, to suit different transom requirements. It features high-quality aluminium alloy as the base material, with anodising coating and powder coating applied for robustness in harsh conditions and saltwater use.
The electrical connectors are made of high-quality stainless steel with PVD (physical vapour deposition) processing, achieving corrosion-free connectivity.
