Refund and Returns Policy

At Power Engine Market, we stand behind the quality of the marine engines, gear systems, and related components we supply. Because marine power equipment is highly specialized, our refund and return policy is designed to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring fairness and transparency.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

• The product is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
• The product is returned in its original packaging
• The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery
• Proof of purchase (invoice or order number) is provided

Installed, used, or altered items are NOT eligible for return under any circumstances.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

• Installed or test-run engines
• Installed gearboxes or transmission systems
• Custom-ordered or special-spec marine engines
• Electrical components once opened
• Clearance or final-sale items
• Products damaged due to improper installation or misuse

3. Refunds (If Approved)

Once your return is received and inspected:

• Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was ours

If your refund is approved, you will receive a confirmation email once the funds are released.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide clear photos or videos of:
  • The product
  • The packaging
  • The shipping label

After verification, we will offer one of the following:

• Replacement
• Store credit
• Partial or full refund (case-by-case basis)

5. Warranty-Related Returns

Some engines and gear systems are covered by a manufacturer or supplier warranty.

• Warranty claims are handled according to the manufacturer’s terms
• Warranty does not cover improper installation, lack of maintenance, or misuse
• Labor, installation, and removal costs are not covered

We will assist you in coordinating warranty claims when applicable.

6. Order Cancellations

• Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item has not shipped
• Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled
• Custom or special-order items cannot be canceled

7. International Returns

For international orders:

• Customers are responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and taxes
• Returned items must comply with all export/import regulations
• Refunds may be delayed due to customs clearance timelines

8. Unauthorized Returns

Returns sent without prior authorization will be:

• Rejected
• Returned to sender at the customer’s expense
• Not eligible for refund
